Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Goldenberg grew up in San Francisco. She received her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, where she majored in Public Health, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She speaks English, Russian, and Spanish.
Dr. Goldenberg earned her medical degree and a Master’s in Clinical Research at UC San Diego. Dr. Goldenberg has received multiple grants and awards, including from the American Skin Association and National Institutes of Health.
She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and three chapters on the subjects of allergic contact dermatitis, cutaneous oncology, surgical dermatology, laser treatments and sun exposure. Dr. Goldenberg is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
