Dr. Fane Robinson received his medical degree at the University of Cape Town. He served his Internal Medicine internship at Groote Schuur Hospital. After completing his Ophthalmology residency, he finished his Vitreorentinal fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Robertson’s areas of expertise include retinal and vitreous diseases, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal disease. He was the President of the San Diego Eye Bank, and he is currently on staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital and Sharp Memorial Hospital where he limites his practice to medical retina.
Dr. Robertson has 30 years of medical experience, and he is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
