MTS

San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System, or MTS, provides rail and bus services. They have light rail service, prevalent bus routes, and freight service. For individuals 60 years and older, MTS offers a reduced fare on Trolleys and fixed bus routes. Qualifying individuals can purchase discounted fares and Compass Card passes at participating outlets and the MTS Transit Store using proper identification.
