Where to Get Pre-made Thanksgiving Meals

Don’t feel like cooking this Thanksgiving? Who can blame you — shopping for ingredients, spending the day in the kitchen, and handling all the clean-up can be stressful and cut into your relaxation time. This year, let someone else do the cooking while you enjoy quality time with the people you love. There are several restaurants and grocery stores throughout San Diego County offering pre-made Thanksgiving meals that you can just heat and serve. 

Here are a few places offering pre-made Thanksgiving meals, and what comes with them. Find the right one for your family to make this year’s feast more festive and less work. 

Elijah’s Restaurant

Elijah’s meal packages run $165 and feed 10 people. Choose an entree of either turkey, beef brisket, or ham. Meals come with two sides — options are mashed potatoes, stuffing, sautéed vegetables, or baked yams. Add a 9” pie for $14.95. 

Whole Foods

Location: Hillcrest, La Jolla, and Del Mar locations in San Diego

Whole Foods has a variety of options for the holidays, including everything from appetizers, to entrees or sides, or full meal packages with all the trimmings. Start by choosing the type of entree that sounds best from a list that includes a variety of types of turkey (including roast or apple-brined), ham, prime rib, beef wellington, or vegan cremini mushroom roast. These can come with everything from green bean casserole to corn pudding to candied yams. Check out their website for more details and to place an order. Black Angus

Black Angus may be known as a steakhouse, but they also serve up one heck of a Thanksgiving feast. Their Thanksgiving family meals to-go serve 4 people for $99.95, 8 servings for $199.95, or up to 12 for $299.95. Meal kits include roasted turkey and all the fixings from potatoes to broccoli to pumpkin pie. 

Sprouts

Order your entree or a full meal from Sprouts this holiday. They have a turkey meal that serves 6-8 people and comes with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, kale & spinach, cranberry sauce, and rolls. Don’t want turkey? Pick a ham, beef rib roast, or vegan option instead! 

Atlas Monroe Thanksgiving Feast

You may have heard of Atlas Monroe when founder Deborah Torres appeared on the television show Shark Tank, during which she turned down an offer of $1Million to invest in her vegan fried chicken company. Since then, Atlas Monroe has built their own manufacturing company right here in San Diego. Their Thanksgiving offering is the Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast, which serves 4-6 people for $150 or 8-10 people for $239. The all-vegan meal includes a turkey loaf filled with stuffing, extra crispy fried chick’n, cured bacon, mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and sweet potato loaf cake. The larger package also includes a sweet potato casserole. This is a great option if there will be vegans or vegetarians at your table.
