San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk

The San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk is responsible for identifying and appraising all unoccupied land, business property, improved real estate, RV’s, and aircrafts for property tax purposes. Other duties for this position includes maintaining and issuing marriage licenses, performing marriage ceremonies, and updating birth and death records for San Diego County. Their goal is to have uniform and fair assessments of property by providing timely courteous service to the public.
