Long Term Care Ombudsman Program

The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program provides support for those who live in long-term care facilities. They are able to assist with issues and complaints associated to personal rights and care. These issues include quality of care of long-term care facilities, physical abuse & neglect, dietary concerns, financial issues, resident rights issues, concerns of physical & chemical restraints, transfers & discharge, privacy & confidentiality, witnessing of advanced directives in skilled nursing facilities, and family councils.
