Downtown Escondido Certified Farmers’ Market

The Downtown Escondido Certified Farmers’ Market is a block-long shopping experience that provides the communities of north county San Diego with fresh, organic, locally-grown produce, herbs, artisan foods, and cut flowers.

This farmers’ market is sponsored by the Escondido Arts Partnership, which is a nonprofit arts agency that strives to create an environment in Escondido where artists can prosper.

On any given Tuesday, you will probably find Julian pies, honey, dried fruits, gourmet baked breads, spreads, salsa, pesto, tamales, homemade tortillas, fresh pasta, nuts, desserts, and much more. Offerings also include diverse ready-to-eat meals that you may enjoy at the market or take home to eat with your family. Vegan and vegetarian-friendly foods may be available.

Sometimes the market also features live performances or music.

Bring cash for purchases, because not all vendors accept credit cards.

The Downtown Escondido Certified Farmers’ Market is held every Tuesday, year-round from 2:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Heritage Garden Park, located at 121 North Juniper Street, Escondido, CA.
