Dr. Tyler Werbel is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. His clinical expertise and interests include skin cancer prevention and early detection, Mohs surgery, facial reconstruction, and improving aesthetic outcomes post-surgery. Originally from Florida, Dr. Werbel pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with dual degrees in Economics and Biochemistry. Simultaneously, he completed a master’s degree in finance. Dr. Werbel earned his medical degree at UC San Diego, followed by an internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital and dermatology residency training at the University of Florida. He acquired additional training in Mohs surgery, facial reconstruction, and cutaneous oncology through a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Florida, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Werbel enjoys playing racket sports, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
