Dr. Scott Tanaka was named a “2018 — Top Doctor” in the annual San Diego Magazine “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey.
Dr. Tanaka is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who takes a personal approach to treating his patients. He enjoys working closely with each patient to present all treatment options, from common treatments such as carpal tunnel syndrome to more complex surgical procedures including total wrist, elbow and shoulder replacement.
Dr. Tanaka received his Medical Degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in Hand Surgery at both Indiana Hand Center, and the Indiana University School of Medicine. His Orthopedic Surgery Residency was completed at the Atlanta Medical Center.
Dr. Tanaka provides many specialty treatment programs for sports injuries, as well as general orthopedic care. He is currently welcoming new patients.
