Dr. Monica Cepin began her medical studies in Barcelona, Spain at the University of Barcelona. She interned at The Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Hospital Cantonal de Geneve in Switzerland, and the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona Emergency Room. Her residency was spent at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
Dr. Cepin received the Physician’s Recognition Award in Continuing Medical Education by the American Medical Association. She has held her own practice and has been a faculty member at UCSD Medical since 2002. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine, and the North American Menopause Society Organization.
