Katie L. Topping, MD

Dr. Katie Topping is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota before going on to a highly competitive ophthalmology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Topping completed advanced training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Stanford University. She then went on to be the Director of Oculoplastic Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego for 6 years. Over the years, Dr. Topping has trained many resident physicians and holds assistant professor appointments with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Loma Linda University.

Dr. Topping is committed to providing exceptional care. She is an expert in functional and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids and eyebrows, reconstructive surgery after skin cancer removal, lacrimal drainage system surgery, and surgery of the eye socket. She also performs botulinum toxin injections for both functional and cosmetic purposes.
