Dr. Katherine Ludington received her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. She served her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Ludington then completed her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Ludington’s area of expertise is in Cardiovascular Disease with a special interest in women’s heart disease and advanced cardiac imaging. She has received awards and honors throughout her educational career, and she served as the co-editor-in-chief and co-founder of the Stanford Journal of Health and Sciences. She also became the co-founder and co-director of both the Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT programs at Scripps Clinic. She has been a part of research projects pertaining to non-invasive imaging of the coronary arteries, and she has given lectures on cardiac imaging. At North Coast Cardiology, Dr. Ludington is the founder of a new program called “Woman At Heart.”
Dr. Ludington is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease. She is currently welcoming new patients.
