Judy C. Doong, MD

Judy Doong, M.D. is a dermatologist who specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She grew up in northern California before spending time on the east coast for her education. She earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and graduated with high honors.

She conducted research in tissue and regenerative medicine, and was awarded the Vredenburg scholarship to conduct research abroad. She also engaged in global health efforts through medical device development. She went on to earn her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Doong completed her intern year training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, then went on to University of California Irvine for her dermatology residency training, where she was the cosmetic chief resident.

While a native of California, she is new to San Diego and is excited to explore new beaches and hiking trails with her Goldendoodle.
