John G. Finkenberg, MD

Dr. John G. Finkenberg received his medical degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 1984. He completed a General Surgery Internship, an Orthopaedic Surgery Research Fellowship, and an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Harbor University of California Los Angeles Medical Center in 1991. He also served his a Spine Fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital in 1992.

Dr. Finkenberg specializes in Orthopaedics and helps patients with musculoskeletal disorders. He has been the Chief of the Orthopaedic Department at Alvarado Hospital Medical Center and has served on the Executive Supervisory Committee for many years. Dr. Finkenberg is the acting Director of the Alvarado Spine Center. As a surgical consultant for a spinal instrumentation company, he has developed instrumentation utilized in reconstructive spinal surgery.

Dr. John G. Finkenberg is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
