Elena Dembo-Smeaton, MD began her Medical Career in Russia where she received her Undergraduate and Medical degree at First Leningrad IP Pavlov Medical. She continued her studies in Russia for Internal Medicine and Rotating at the State Research Center for Pulmonology in St. Petersburg.
She later attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she specialized in Family Medicine for her Residency. Dr. Dembo-Smeaton is a member of the La Jolla Village Medical Group.
