Brett Tompkins, D.O., a board-certified ophthalmologist, embarked on his medical journey with undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and Biology from San Diego Christian College. He earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA. Following graduation, Dr. Tompkins completed his ophthalmology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA.
His dedication to service continued at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, providing care to military personnel and their families. Additionally, Dr. Tompkins contributed to the growth of Seashore Eyecare, helping to establish and expand the practice.
Interests are to perform comprehensive ocular system examination and develop effective management plans to maintain and improve patient’s ocular health, Skilled in minor ophthalmic procedures, ophthalmic laser procedures including YAG capsulotomy, LPI, SLT, & Experienced Cataract and Refractive Surgeon
