May is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month – Get Involved!

Today marks the start of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, and there are many ways you can help right here in San Diego County.  According to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, approximately 30,000 Americans suffer from cystic fibrosis and more than 10 million carry the gene. Cystic Fibrosis is a chronic, life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and liver.

PARTICIPATE IN A LOCAL EVENT

Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser. More than 90% of donations go directly to research labs across the country. VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
