Summer Movies in the Park
Enjoy a movie under the stars with your family right in your neighborhood park. Every weekend, a family-friendly movie is featured at a neighborhood park free of charge. The locations extend throughout the county, from Poway to Chula Vista, there’s a park nearby. Check out the complete schedule and find a showing near you!

Movies on the Beach
Treat yourself to a movie night with loved ones right on the sand! The Del hosts family movies and cult classics three times a month, running until September 1st. They offer a family movie package which includes a private beach bonfire, s’mores for 4 people, two beach chairs and a daybed for $250. Del Beach chairs are available for $15 at the event, but it’s recommended that you reserve in advance. Check out the complete schedule and purchase your tickets today!

Screen on the Green
Grab your picnic necessities and head to the Botanical Lawn in Balboa Park to enjoy classics such as Original Copy and The Music Room. Films are free and begin showing throughout August, every Thursday at sundown. Check out the complete schedule for film information.

Athenaeum Music & Arts Library “Flicks on the Bricks”
The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library in La Jolla hosts an outdoor movie series located on their beautiful patio. This series begins August 2nd and ends August 23rd and this year will highlight the Film Noir genre with movies affiliated with San Diego. You can purchase all four showings for $32 (members) or $52 (nonmembers). If you’d like to purchase tickets individually it is $10 (members) or $15 (nonmembers). Liberty Station Movie Nights
Every Tuesday this summer, Stone Brewing at Liberty Station will be featuring an evening of great films. Many of the showings are not appropriate for children, so this is a perfect night out for parents! It’s suggested to arrive as early as 5 PM to set up your spot.
